Ok. It's finals week and right now and I'm in the finals period for teach, meaning: I'm doing nothing. -.-
He's letting me do a recipe thing, but i swear if I have type out another b.s. story that these freshman probably did a couple seconds before the assignment was due, I will officially lose my sanity. I think I've read about 10 stories in a row that have started with "Back when I was a kid..." or even better "Once upon a time". Oh and then theres some kids who think i'd be funny to write a ridiculously long story about how their mother joe's( or some other random name) mother anne had a friend, who had a friend, who had a cousin, who had a dog, who had a parasite, who had a mother, that jumped onto a cat, who had a baby that got adopted by this guy, who had a friend that made this recipe. Which makes me feel like doing this:
hahah well ok there may have been a smidge of exaggeration in that last paragraph but still. This is the last day i get to see these guys and I will admit that I'm going to miss them. Hopefully the next group of freshman is just as annoyingly funny as this one. Watching teach go insane is what motivates me through the day. XD not really but it's still fun. I mean i make amazing discoveries in this class. I made a kind of pathetic one today; it turns out that most of the kids in here don't know how to address a letter. who knew? :o
I'm definently looking forward to this weekend. The hype over our winter formal will be gone and a lovely new semester starts.
YAY!
hahah have a good rest of the week. :D

So I'm pretty sure that was the most eventful week I've had in a while. :o
High school really does fascinate and disgust me at the same time. Disgusting because of all of the unnecessary things that go on. A lot of kids I know tend to freak out about stuff that really isn't a big deal and won't matter in a month or two. I'm not excluding myself of course, but I really do think its interesting about how caught up in the moment we can get without even realizing it.
ANYWAY! today was pretty interesting. Sorry to refer to the teacher I T.A. for again, but his class is really like watching a freshman soap opera. One girl was freaking out over a guy that didn't like her. Another was whining about how she thinks her dress for our upcoming winter formal makes her "thunder thighs" look HUGE (even though she's the skinniest girl ive seen). While the boys sit there and incessantly make smartass remarks. blah blah blah. I find it fun to watch my teacher try to keep his sanity. Luckily, finals are next week so he can kind of breathe for a couple days. or not who knows. :P
I'm babbling now. So if you actually read this then:

Ok. So I'm a teacher aide for my old freshman history teacher. It can be the best or worst way to end a school day. Today is one of the bad endings.
Everything was fairly laid back at the beginning, it was a simple work day. Until a group of freshman boys decided to play hit for hit in the middle of class. :P
Teach gave them their normal warning and went off to help a kid with a question. The boys were alright for a few minutes before they got bored again and figured they'd start up again. Also, to add to the wonderous fun, a couple of the girls started breaking into random song. -.-
What I find funny is that the boys that were playing hit for hit today, were the same boys that got into the super glue a few weeks back. One of them brought a tube of super glue and of course the immeadiate suggestion was "Lets glue our hands together!". Which they did and that some how escalated to "Lets glue Kyles lips." Poor kid. They glued his upper lip slightly up and his lower lip down. Then one of the kids grabbed a sharpie and drew a moustache on him.
LIKE MOUSTACHE.
As semi-amusing as it was, Teach still got mad and made the boy wash it off. The kid had to rip his lips apart. :/
Oh well. Sadly the semester ends in a week and Teach and I get a whole new group. joy. :)
Here's some Red Hot Chili Peppers for ya. :D
